Pumpkin Patch

So last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch, this is actually the earliest we have been but we were needing something fun to do as a family last Saturday night.  My only regret was that I had forgotten the  bug spray, I was in such a hurry to get out of the house before we didn't have sunlight any more I left the most important thing at home.  We always get eaten alive out there.  I was realizing that we have been to this same pumpkin patch every year for the last 7 years.  I am sure that there are other fancier pumpkin patches we could go to but I love Pack's pumpkin patch for the simple fact that we go every year. 

I told the boys before we all got out of the car that I wanted to get some pictures of them before they got to go explore the maze and stuff.  I was amazed that the boys agreed and totally cooperated for pictures and let me get some before they ran off to the maze.  I seriously was so shocked it was awesome to have them cooperating, even Noah!

Caitlin on the other hand was not super thrilled, she didn't seem to like sitting on the straw and most of the pictures of her she was either crying or on the verge of crying.  I had forgotten the stroller so luckily I had the Baby Bjorn to put her in so I didn't have to carry her.  She was very happy being carried around, but when ever I set her down she cried. 

This had to of been the fastest we have ever picked out our pumpkins, Noah picked his right off the bat and never changed his mind and if you know that kid that in itself is not normal.  Even Jason found his pumpkin fairly quickly, he is always on the quest for the perfect pumpkin and he usually takes the longest to find one.  We did notice the pumpkins were small this year and most of them were pretty green still.  So this was also the year of fairly small pumpkins. 

I can't help it I love pictures of my babies crying

We never did manage to get a family picture of us maybe someday we will manage that at the pumpkin patch. 

34 weeks

She is totally mobile now, I have been researching baby gates we need them to keep her away from our stair cases.  She follows me when I walk out of the room.  Sometimes its cute sometimes it drives me crazy. 

She can pull herself into a standing position, and when she stands she stands on her tip toes.  It is the cutest thing, she always goes up on her toes. 

I have noticed she likes to play with the tag on her blanket I cover her with. 

These weekly photos are getting harder and harder to get, she rolls over and sits up almost immediately, I have to really quick to get a picture of her. 

Caitlin's Aunt Angela took some pictures of her this week, I have seen a few of the photos and I can't wait to see the rest of them they so far are amazing. 

We went to the pumpkin patch and got our pumpkins for the year.  It was baby girls first time, I love making these new memories with my babies.

33 weeks

This week marked some big milestones for baby girl, she started crawling.  I'm so not ready for this new faze in our lives.  She isn't getting to far but she is moving. 

She now has 4 teeth.  She has bit me a few times, so I'm really shy of letting her get her mouth anywhere near me.  She has also discovered she has teeth she plays with them. 

She also has been pulling herself up she gets on her knees and once or twice she has gotten to her feet. 

She can also get herself into a sitting position when she is laying down.  It is almost time to lower her crib. 

She is getting really good at feeding herself, she picks things up with her fingers and then can put them in her mouth. 

She is doing great with eating, I have cut down the nursing to morning and bedtime,  she now takes her bottles like a champ.  It has been so nice for me to not have to nurse her every 3 hours I don't feel quite as tide down.  She loves food there isn't anything she doesn't like. 

32 weeks

Caitlin started clapping this week, it is the cutest thing ever, she will clap then look at her hands like look what I just did with my hands.  Then she will clap again and look around for someone to tell her she's done something cute.  It is adorable

She also had another tooth pop out from her gum, this time it is a top front tooth, the other one is really close behind. 

She is getting much better at getting puffs in her mouth.  She picks them up with her left hand then switches them to her right hand and then in her mouth.  She loves food, I haven't found anything she doesn't like. 

She is definitely attached to me, she will cry if I walk away from her in a room, it makes me a little crazy some days and really tough to get anything done. 

She loves the puppets on baby Einstein, it is so cute to see her face light up when they come on the TV. 

She is so close to crawling, and I am not thrilled about it, I seriously don't want a mobile baby. 

I had my first experience with her biting me, I was holding her and the little stinker bit my arm.

31 weeks

Oh what a grouch my baby girl has been this week.  On top of still having her gums bug her she caught the cold I had and boy has she been ornery.  She is starting to get back to her happy self and it can't some soon enough.  She is getting close to crawling, and I am not happy about that at all I don't want a mobile baby.
She is getting harder and harder to keep still for these pictures, if I blink she is turned over and sitting up and all over the place.

Tub time

So I finally decided to put Caitlin in the tub by herself she sits really well by herself and she was all over in her little tub.  The thing with these big deep tubs is that bathing babies is kind of crappy.  It isn't quick or easy to bath her and both of our tubs in this house are nice and deep.  Its tough to reach over the edge, half the time I climb in and wash my feet with her to make it a little easier.  It is pretty cute to see how little she looks in the great big tub.

Naked

This baby girl just doesn't sit still at all any more, even when I am holding her she is all over the place.  She can roll over but she doesn't seem to like to if she doesn't have to.  She has gotten pretty good at moving around by sitting up kind of rotating and scooting.  Jason keeps trying to get her to crawl, which I am totally against, I don't want a mobile baby yet.  The other day I was changing her into her jammies and I set her down on her floor for a minute while I went to do something.  She ended up playing on her floor for a while just in her diaper.  I don't normally have naked babies, I just always seem to have them dressed.  I love seeing naked babies I just don't normally leave mine naked.  I thought it was kind of cute watching her play with nothing really but she was happy as can be. 

This is where I found Grey for her and made her come out to play with us. 

 

 

These rolls just kill me, I just want to squeeze her to death she is so squishy!
