Vinyl

I got this digital cutter 2 years ago for Christmas from my awesome husband (Thanks sweetie I still love this gift). This is the coolest cutter, you can use any true type font that you have on your computer, and any image as long as it is a vector format. Anyways I have used it for my scrapbook pages and a few other projects.
I have been wanting to do some vinyl stuff to put on the our walls. If you have priced out these vinyl sayings they are pretty pricey. So today I was bored and needed something to do while the boys were sleeping so I decided I would make something to put in Noah's room. I found a saying I liked and made my own. Had I bought the saying I wanted online it would of been $21.95 plus shipping. Then I would of had to wait for it be shipped to me. I hate waiting for things when I am in the mood to work on a project. Instead I used the vinyl and transfer paper that I had on hand. I did spend $5.95 on 2 star shapes and another saying that I liked to go in the office, but these items I will be able to use them over and over again. So I consider this to be a good investment. I put this above his closet I think that it turned out pretty cute.

Out of the Fog

Since having Noah I have felt like I was living in this fog. Having Noah was so much easier than it was when I had Ashton, so I felt like I recovered faster than I did the first time. Adjusting to having two kids at home was a little harder.
I was feeling guilty because now I am staying at home Ashton wasn't able to go to daycare anymore, he loved being there. He had gotten to the point where when we would drive down the road to Becky's house he would recognize it and get really excited. He would run in and give Becky huge hugs. He loved playing with all the kids being at home with mom all day is not as much fun. I know that so many people look down on daycare, but I think that it has a lot of benefits. I am grateful that I am able to stay at home and raise my boys I am lucky to have this opportunity.
Getting no sleep was not helping the situation either, I was so tired all the time. Everyone says to sleep when the baby is sleeping, but it isn't that simple when you have a toddler running around also. I would put a movie on for Ashton, nurse Noah and lay down on the couch and fall asleep with Noah next to me and Ashton crawling all over me.
Now here I am three months later and I am now use to no sleep and I don't need to take a nap everyday, which is awesome. I feel like myself again which is nice

Love you the most day

I decided to plan a surprise candlelight dinner for Jason Friday night. My mom was keeping Ashton for the night (she would of taken Noah but he is still nursing). I was so excited to have this whole dinner planned when Jason got home from school. My hair appointment was later in the afternoon, and by the time I got to my mom's house and picked up Noah. There was no way I could get home and have dinner made. So the next best thing was take out. I called our favorite restaurant and ordered food picked it up and headed home. Unfortunately Jason beat me home. We still had our candlelight dinner and it was fun it just wasn't a surprise like I had hoped.

My mom brought Ashton home the next morning and Jason and I went to a matinee. We went and saw Confessions of a shopaholic. It was a cute movie and a good date movie. Then these beautiful flowers arrived, for dinner we went to a little BBQ place called Pat's. It was one of those dives of a place but the food was excellent. It was an awesome valentines, I have an amazing husband who I love more than anything.

I also have two of the cutest boys ever :)

a big change

I have been wanting to get my haircut for a while now. I finally went and got it done.
My mom watched the boys while I was gone. It is a little shorter than I was anticipating. I did still want to be able to pull it back in a ponytail, that will not be happening for a while. Overall
I am happy with the results, it will just take some getting use to, it is weird to have such short hair.

picture

I have been wanting to get the boys picture taken together forever, but Ashton just won't cooperate. I have tried so many times. I tried again today this is the best that I got, if you look at the bottom of the photo you will see my hand trying to hold Ashton still. Maybe one day he will cooperate and we can get a family picture taken too.

Noah

I finally finished Noah's letters to put on his wall in his bedroom. It has only taken me almost three months, oh well. I think it turned out pretty cute.

I have been working on this layout for Noah's book for about a week now. Korie wanted me to post it so she could see how it turned out.

sorry I can't figure out why they rotated, I tried about about 5 times to make them right, but you can get the idea :)

Game night

Saturday night has become our unofficial game night with the Bellamy's. We love playing games sometimes we play new games, but usually we end up with the old favorite Settlers.
It can get a little loud and crazy sometimes, with three boys ranging from 3 1/2 to 15 months. It is amazing how quickly they can destroy a room. But what can we expect when we let them do whatever while we are playing. It is only when someone is crying that we decided we better go check on them. I can just only imagine how loud and crazy it will be when Noah joins the group :)

A sunny day and the park

Ashton is so funny these days, he gets stir crazy when we don't go anywhere, he will come up to me and say "go bu bu bye", so this week the sun was out so we went to the park. The park was still covered in snow and we were the only ones there. But Ashton had so much fun, he ran all over. It will be so nice when spring is finally here and we can once again spend lots of time outside.
Ashton had brought a couple of cars with him and they did not leave his hand the whole time we were there.
Noah was bundled up in the stroller, and he slept the whole time.

Huge thanks

I have to give a huge thanks to all of my parents. They have been so great to help out with the boys for the last three weekends. It started with my dad and Val coming and watching the boys while Jason and I went to a movie and dinner. The next weekend my mom and Myron came and watched the boys while we went to dinner with some friends then played games. Then this last weekend my mom took Ashton over night on Sat so that I could have a little break and hopefully a little more sleep. Ashton loves to be at grandmas house so it isn't hard for me to send him away for the night. He loves it so much that when Jason and I went to pick him up he didn't even care that we were there and basically ignored us. I know as soon as Noah is no longer attached to me, he will love to spend time with grandma and grandpa too.

So once again a big thanks to my parents. I can't imagine not having you around to help out like you do.
