7 years

Happy 7th Anniversary to my wonderful husband, partner, and friend.  I can't imagine going through all of this without him by my side.

22 Weeks

This has been a rough week for baby girl, she has been a little fussy.  I've been wondering if she was teething, but nothing is coming through her gums yet.  She woke up twice this last week at night which is very unusual for her and nothing I did would calm her down so I had to feed her.  I am trying not to complain because she has been such a good sleeper so far, but man I have been tired this last week.  On a side note Ashton told me that he wished he was our last baby because I kiss on my baby more than I kiss on him.  That made me sad to hear, so I an trying to love on my boys as much as I love on Caitlin, its just a little harder when the boys aren't around as much playing with their friends.

5 months

Caitlin is 5 months today (well actually on the 15th I just didn't get this post finished) I can't believe how fast the time has gone by.  She is such a wonderful baby I seriously could not love her more.  She has been a little grouchy lately and I am not sure why.  I think she might be teething, she has been drooling a ton lately and she chews on everything.  But I keep feeling in her mouth and nothing is coming through yet.  She hasn't been sleeping as great this last week she has woken up twice this week and nothing seems to calm her down, so I had to feed her.  I don't feel like I can complain much about it because she has been such an awesome sleeper.  She has been sleeping through the night since she was about 2 months old.  But it does make for one tired mom in the mornings.

Some fun facts, she rolls over all the time from her back to stomach.  She doesn't mind being on her stomach.  She loves to stand when you are holding her.  I pulled out the exersaucer she only kind of likes it.  I had to raise it to the highest setting so she could stand up in it and that seems to help with her liking being in it for longer periods of time.  She loves her daddy, she lights up when she sees him.  She loves her big brother Ashton, she likes Noah but it more cautious around him.  He is definitely more rough with her.  She breaks out of her swaddler all of the time so I guess it is time to put that away, so that has made naps and bed time a little harder.  She likes to sleep with her hands behind her head.  I am still nursing her, I said my goal was to go 6 months like I did with Noah.  But this time around it doesn't bother me as much, I actually enjoy feeding her so we will see how long the nursing continues.  She does this funny thing while eating she kind of hums, it is really cute to listen to.  I had to take a video of it just so I could remember it.  She hates to be put down then have you walk of the room.  She loves to grab her feet and put them in her mouth.  She has the most glorious plump arms and legs, I just want to kiss on her all the time.  She doesn't love being in her car seat, she fusses and cries, especially if the car stops for any reason.  I have found the only thing to calm her down sometimes is baby Einstein.  I bought these holders that clip onto the headrest that I can put an ipad or my phone in so I can play a video for her.  So far it has worked out great, especially when I remember to bring an ipad with me.  If I have forgotten my phone does work it is just smaller.

Our nap schedule it pretty good she takes a short little nap in the morning about 2 hours after she has woken up, then in the afternoon she takes a long nap usually 3-4 hours.  Depending on when she goes down she might need another short cat nap in the evening before bed.  She is usually in bed by 8 or 8:30 and she sleeps all night.  I have been so lucky to have such a great sleeper.

21 weeks

Caitlin has been a little grouchy this last week.  She hasn't been taking as great of naps as normal.  She has also been grouchy during the day, she cries and isn't as happy as she use to be.  I can't figure out what is wrong with her.  She doesn't have any outside signs or symptom's.  I wonder if she is teething, she has been drooling a ton lately but I can't feel anything in her gums or anything.  She has also been breaking out of her swaddle so I haven't been swaddling her as much, but it takes a lot longer for her to go to sleep so it is a small transition.

She still loves to grab her feet and put them in her mouth when she is on her back.  I love it, it is so cute.

Boys dentist

So the boys had a dentist appointment this last week.  I don't need to worry about Ashton he cooperates and is fine, but Noah has not yet had a real appointment.  So I was trying to prepare Noah for it and I decided to bride them.  I told the boys if they were good then we would go to the toy store and they could buy whatever they wanted with the money in their piggy banks.  It worked out beautifully.  Noah was awesome, he climbed up in the chair, had x-rays done, let the hygienist brush and floss his teeth and then let the dentist check them out.  It was such a nice change of pace to not have the screaming and carrying on.

They had this big box of silly hats and stuff that they boys could choose something from for the hygienist to wear which cleaning their teeth.  Well Noah found this hot dog hat and he wanted to wear it.  He loved the hat, he wanted to take it home with him.

After there appointment, we headed to a coin star so the boys could exchange their change for money.  Then we headed to ToysRus, the boys already had what they wanted in their heads, Ashton bought 3 bionicles, and Noah got 2 different small Lego sets.  They we two very happy boys.

After leaving the toy store we had to head to my dad's house we were having a little going away dinner for my grandma, she was moving back to Arizona so we all wanted to get together to say goodbye.  On days like this I feel really bad for Caitlin, she doesn't get a very good nap and she isn't awesome in the car sometimes so it is a little challenging.

20 weeks

20 weeks, already where has the time gone.  We celebrated the 4th of July this last week I will talk more about that later.  I went a little crazy with her outfits, yes that is plural.  I bought one at Costco it was cute and I was happy about it.  Then I found these pants on a one day sale and I had to have them so, then I had to go on the hunt for things to go with the outfit.  In the end she looked adorable on the 3rd and 4th of July.

She is still one awesome baby, she is rolling over all the time.  I have to put her against things so she won't roll over immediately when she is put on her back.  She still only rolls over on her left side, and she hasn't figured out how to roll onto her back when she is on her tummy.  She has been breaking out of her swaddler for a while now.  It is the norm for me to go in and check on her and she is completely broken free.  I need to get something else for her, but then I am also dreading it cause she is such a good sleeper with the routine we have and I am afraid if I change something that will change.

19 weeks

So I am a little late on taking Caitlin's 19 weeks photos.  I tweaked my back on Friday and have been out of commission since then.  Its been a rough weekend, not being able to move or do much.  Caitlin is seriously such a good baby, she is rolling over all the time now, I have to put something against her side if I want to keep her on her back for any period of time.  I pulled out the exersaucer this last week.  I had to clean it up and get some new batteries for some of the toys.  So far she is a little indifferent to it.  She might be a little small for it just yet, but I wanted to get it out anyways.

She is funny when she gets on her stomach, she gets her knees up under her and tries to move.  I really hope this doesn't mean she is going to be an early crawler.  I want to freeze time and keep her little forever.  I can't get enough of her chubby cheeks, and thighs.  She is still the perfect chubby baby girl.  I seriously can't get enough of her.
