I can't believe that her first year has come and gone so quickly. She has been such a delight to have in our family, she is the princess of the family even the boys think so.
It seems like just yesterday that we brought her home and she was so tiny and before my eyes she has grown up into this little toddler.
I had fun planning her party, I went completely girly and it was such a nice change of pace. It looked like pink and purple exploded all over in a good way that is! We had family and a few close friends over for some food and company. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate her first birthday.
She had her first taste of cake and icing, she was a little hesitant at digging into her cake I had to help her out a little bit, but once she tasted it she loved it. She didn't make as big of a mess as I had anticiapated. I think my favorite part of the whole cake thing was when she tried to feed uncle Leland some and he took it from her. It made her so happy she thought it was pretty funny.
She kind of got opening her presents, she pulled at the tissue paper and the wrapping paper. She got a bunch of fun new toys and clothes from family and friends.
Ashton was pretty proud of his plate of lunch, silly boy
I wanted a cute picture of the two of us, but she too ornery. I had put her down for a nap but she didn't sleep very long and when she did wake up she was super grouchy.
We seriously didn't need to buy her anything all she wanted was to play with her balloons, she walked around with them and was so happy.
Happy Birthday Baby Girl, I couldn't love you more if I tried.
