5 weeks

These 5 weeks have gone by in such a hurry.  Caitlin is such a good baby, she is sleeping stretches of 5-6 hours at night it is awesome.  The boys are still very much in love with their little sister, Noah wants to kiss her all the time and Ashton loves to hold her.  She has started smiling at us this week, it is so fun to make her smile.  She is also starting to coo it only happens every so often but it does happen.  We finally got out the baby swing this week, and so far she loves it.

 

I know I am doing weekly photos of Caitlin but I am still going to take these monthly photos with this bear just like I did with each of the boys.  Here is her one month photo. 

 

 

St Patricks day

So I decided that Caitlin needed to have a tutu for St Patricks Day.  Can I just say how much fun it is having a girl.  So I spent one afternoon making a tutu and then used one of her white onesies and made a cutie onesie to go along with it.  I was thrilled with how it turned out, she looked completely adorable. 

She was totally smiling at Grandma, these were her first real smiles. 

I tried to get a good picture with all of the kids, but of course Noah was not going to cooperate.  Ashton of course was totally willing to cooperate and take a picture.

4 weeks

I can't believe it has been 4 weeks already, the time has flown by.  Caitlin has just blended in our family very seamlessly.  The boys still think she is pretty awesome, Noah kisses on her all the time, and Ashton likes to hold her all the time.  I am still having a hard time putting her down, and because of that she has become a little spoiled, she likes to be held a lot.  I have no one to blame but myself, I am just trying to soak in everything seeing how this is my last baby.  She is a pretty good baby, she does get a little fussy after eating but other than that she is pretty good.  She still sleeps pretty good only getting up 2 a night to eat. 

Don't let that smile fool you, we had to try twice to get a good picture today, this is what she thought of the photo shoot the first time around.

3 weeks

Caitlin is three weeks old already, I can't believe how quickly the time is going by.  She had her two week appointment on Tuesday, she weights 9 lbs 8 oz and is 21 inches long.  She is growing like a weed.  I am still so completely in love with her, she is a pretty good baby, she sleeps great at night.  She usually only gets up twice to eat, letting me have stretches of 4 hours to sleep, which is so very manageable.  She has moments of fussiness, usually after eating she doesn't like to burp and it takes a while to get them out of her.

Jason had to go to Florida this week for work he left Wednesday and will be back Sunday.  I am pretty jealous of him getting to go and spend time on the beach and have warm weather.  Had my mom been able to take time off work to watch the boys I would of taken Caitlin and gone with him.  Oh well next time, Mom did come and get the boys on Friday and kept them till Sunday, so I only had Caitlin to take care of for a couple of days.  Friday after the boys left, Caitlin and I went and I got a manicure, then we went to dinner with a friend, then the mall.  Caitlin was go good, she slept the entire time.  Then on Saturday, we headed to a baby shower for my step sister Nicole who is having a boy in a few weeks, then we headed to the mall again to do some more shopping for the afternoon.  This was our first girls weekend and I can't wait to have many more of them.

weekly photos

Before Caitlin was born I had decided I wanted to take weekly pictures of her, and at the end of the year I can make a book out of all the photos.  So here are the last two weeks pictures.  I can't believe it has been two weeks already.  The time is going by way to fast I want to freeze time and keep her little. 

Week one:

I know we have only had her home for a week now, but so far she is a pretty good baby.  She sleeps most of the day away.  She really only cries when we change her diaper and when she is hungry.  So far she has taken a liking to her binky, so we will see if that continues. 

Week 2:

I can't believe she is already two weeks old, I seriously want to freeze time and make her stop growing.  I Love the newborn stage, I love how babies smell, how they sleep so much, I can seriously just sit and hold her all day long, oh wait i do hold her pretty much all day.  I have also found myself doing things with Caitlin that I would of never done with the boys, I suspect it is because she is my last baby and I want to soak up every last minute of her while I can. 

Caitlin still is a really good baby, pretty chill and still sleeps a lot, she is sleeping pretty good at night, getting up twice to eat, So I get 4-5 hr stretches of sleep which is awesome.
